Either my hands are gigantic and strong enough to hold lots of watermelons.... Or these are just mini watermelon cucumbers ๐ค

Passion. You all have it in you. If you have a passion... Chase it and never let it go. I love recipe writing. It comes pretty natural to me, and for that I am so grateful for. For some reason I feel really comfortable and at peace in the kitchen. It's my little happy place. What's yours?
This spread is from @chancy94 and I picnic dinner last night.
I made little baked stuffed zucchinis, creamy almond pasta, hummus, kale salad, and a butternut squash ravioli... Yes I went overboard๐ chancy was so cute he said "WOW BABE! You even made homemade chips?" And I just laughed, they were the only thing from the dinner that I bought ๐ whoops
Also how pretty are the sunflowers chanc got me ๐ป

Let's talk about diets. When I was 16 I went on a diet that required me to only eat 600 calories a day. I wanted to so desperately loose weight. Looking back it makes me so sick and sad to think that 16 year old me thought it was healthy to deprive my body from food just so that I can loose weight. I remember being miserable, constantly thinking of when my next meal was and feeling light headed. When I did loose the weight, the weight I had lost was never good enough. Nothing was ever good enough. Body acceptance is important. It is important to accept yourself ALWAYS. Know that your body is beautiful the way it is. For a while I really didn't understand that. I thought that If I looked in the mirror and saw something I didn't like that I would never accept it. Eventually I began to appreciate my body for what it is. I began to appreciate the legs I have and realized how lucky I am to even have legs that can allow me to run or cycle for miles on end. Your body is so much more then it's weight. Your body allows you to live each day, move, walk, dance, help others. Appreciate it and love it for what it is, give it beautiful whole foods and never deprive your body from its fuel. With that said, I started my day with coconut nice cream ... Recipe:
2 frozen bananas
2-3 dates
1/4 coconut milk
BLEND!!!
1/2 banana for topping
1 cup raspberries
Cinnamon
